And what about SRS Airbag as its not in original Xli, Gli or 2.0D???
Clay bar or if you have tinting blades take a blade hold it at 45degree angle spray some glass cleaner on the screen and scrape it away
the surface looks really smooth flat
Will try InshaAllah
the wires in circle are of air bag ,,, they go grip to grip in my se sallon ,,,,,, and for XLI , GLI and 2D u can ignore these wires ,,,,,originally XLI , GLI and 2D dont have clock spring but can be added ,,,,,,
plastic primed all plastic parts ,,,,,,
Sir, hatts off to your efforts.
i need to ask can we paint a plastic surface directly. is there any spray can suitable for painting plastic sheet having shiny smooth surface.
No. You have to scuff with 600 grit and spray adhesion promoter (called plastic primer by local paint shops). Else the paint doesnt stick.
@agoodfriend Great job. Hatsoff to you. I have DIY painted few panels (bumpers, doors, side mirrors, fenders) of my cars at home too but never had the courage to take up whole car. Use glasurit paint if possible. Have you considered epoxy primer on bare metal. What are you planning to minimize dust nibs and debris in the paint.
Sorry for hijacking, here are the recently DIY painted side mirrors of my indus (Single stage glasurit 202):
Door look reciever or some kind of module.
Nope you scuff it down we Use a Red scotch brite pad easily available at most shops if you are doing it 1st time use the grey plastic primer and then paint and should be perfect
any particular specialty of Glasurit paint ?
