Has anyone ever made their own ECU? I have seen a few open source ECUs on the internet and there are a bunch of videos on DIY ECUs online so I was wondering if anyone is working on anything like that here.
I believe any modern MCU (32-bit in particular) should be capable of running an engine and also interface with peripherals using the CAN protocol.
Please share your experiences and/or opinions.
