This happens to throttle body if not cleaned for very longer times. All external remedies and scannings are failed in this scenarios
My one is nowhere near as bad as that so maybe my throttle body doesn’t need cleaning.
Yes no need to open your city's TB if the carbon dirt is not as bad as that of my santro's TB. Spray TB cleaner inside TB while car car is start and also get your car scanned for any error codes. Get vacuum checked for any leakages as recommended by Xulfiqar bhai

Normal roadside mechanics will mingle with unnecessary things also. Better go to Arfani Autos in Lahore. He has also good reviews. He has YouTube channel also as " Arfani Autos". His customers are satisfied as they give feedback in the videos
Thank you all for your help. I took it to my mechanic and he plugged the OBD scanner in and it was showing an MAF sensor error code. He cleaned the grip, took the car for a spin and ran the test again and the code had gone. The car is running noticeably better now.

Hey Guyz! I replaced throttle body of my city idsi yesterday due to it's idle speed adjustment screw gone free( washed out threads) Alhamdulillah got kabli throttle body in reasonable price along with fitting charges. Cannibalized the kabli throttle body sensor with my genuine TPS, Idle air control valve etc. Alhamdulillah car is running like charm
how do you managed to adjust TPS values, do you have any idea about stock values of the TPS in Honda City?
I know TPS has DC voltage range somewhere between 4 to 5 volts I think. I forgot actual values which I had checked my self by moving throttle plate back in 2016 by attaching a multimeter. Though yesterday I got TB replaced by Mechanic
Mechanic physically set TPS by loosening it's screws and idle adjusted to optimum rpm 800 approx. Without going into voltage values fuss
Thats not the right thing to do. i was searching about its values and some websites says TPS are not adjustable in honda city but on the other hand it has a adjusting screw.
Yes it has adjustment screw. But mechanic had set rpm by TPS which seems ok and car is behaving fine
It's idle screw had washed out threads. So changed it with kabli TB. Alhamdulillah very good result now
