DIY Honda Civic 1996-2000 Instrument Cluster Customization

Salam to all Pakwheels members. I've been a silent member since 2015. I've done many DIY's but this time i finally decided to post it on the forum. I hope you guys like it.

This is an old picture of the speedometer as i forgot to take a picture before starting the work (because as always i didn't plan to post it :p)

The removal of speedometer was easy. Watched a youtube video.

I had carbon fibre wrap lying around at home. I bought it back in 2016 for 30rs per foot from Montgomery road.
I've actually been obsessed with carbon fibre back in those days. i literally wrapped everything in carbon fibre, phones, laptops, mouse, usbs, keychains etc

Always liked red needles so i had to try this out. Used permanent red marker to paint the needles.

Painting the needles with marker was a little difficult, had to use a technique.

Replaced old bulbs with new.
I had to buy 5 T4 bulbs. Got it for Rs.10 each but i don't know if they are good quality since there's nothing mentioned on them. The old ones had 12V 3W mentioned on them.

Good mod
But still very dim. Also do you find a way to lit up needle with led.

can you guide me where can i get cluster like you have.

and can you please recommend a good workshop in rawalpindi/islamabad from where i can get services for my car. i swap car engine with d17a1.

Your car is one generation older than the car used in this DIY. But still you can customize your cluster.
