you should have added a liner at least, leather can leave stains/ oil marks/chemicals. A handle would have been a plus.

i doubt it, ive had these leathers in our store room for over 10 years, any ""chemicals"" would've dried off by now.
Like i said I don't need a handle with it since i wont be carrying it like this anywhere, its a sleeve not a carry case, thanks for the input anyways

once i had a bad experince with sewing machine i wanted to sew my pant but i was unable to do so....

thanks, you have no idea how long it took, plus if you cant sew yourself, take it to a tailor around your area, or some guy who attaches zippers.

Nice! Excellent DIY.. And the leather matches your laptop colour too so bravo.

Although I read in your previous post that the leather was lying with you in the store of your home, can you possibly guide me as to where I can buy this kind of material from? I do such DIYs all the time, and I intend to make an arm brace for my iphone - will need leather for that.

the leather might be available at the back of zainab market, a couple of years ago i remember there were leather jackets and other leather stuff for sale there, you can have a look.
