To all the LED head lights expert out there!

As the title says, kindly advice me how I should proceed with my project. Please see the pic for the headlight I want to work on.

Would you like to give me any suggestion as to what I should do instead of the chrome?...This car came in this condition from Japan.

get the chrome pieces wrapped in polished black..........

Well this thread is late but came to it as i was searching this DIY my self. the thing i am afraid of is headlights have specific focal point. Either you use pre built LED bulb or you install flat LED 10 watt as 20 watt is too big. Anyway the only dow side to this is LED generate too much heat to melt plastic at its bottom that is why they use heat sink.

Flat Led usage would easily disturb the focal point resulting bad projection
