Conclusion:

I took the car on test drive, the results were amazing, engine noise was reduced by over 60% and rattling was also reduced by 80%. The floor was giving a soft feeling and doors were giving a heavy feeling while closing them. Drive of car was like a new one, Overall I would say "Mehnat Wasool".

Now I am planning for bonnet insulation next week and LED installation in my speedometer meter.

How do i know where i need to apply this material at which part inside door? or we need to apply in all over inside door !
Also how does this material stops noise from engine ?

i dont understand what you said about making doors heavy. why would they helf if the doors are heavy ? Plus from what kind of shop these rubber foam can be bought. i would like to do this with cultus. i reside in lahore, incase someone want to help me out

Get self adhesive sheets such as STP/dynamat/peel&seal etc and apply these to the outer skin of your door and inner skin of the door. Can also be applied to roof( make sure you buy a better quality due to the mechanics). Usually a 40% coverage of the surface i.e. 40% of each door in small pieces will be sufficient and 100% is an overuse BUT for smaller cars like mehran, coure, khyber the 100% might be justified.

The sheets that I am talking about are basically an aluminium and butyl combination sheets. These can also be used for heat (to a certain extent). Proper heat insulation such as exhaust and bonnet/engine have specific products.

You will need to apply the sheet on the metal strucure of the door, where the door card is installed.

The sheets which I have used are mixture of rubber & foam, that's why their weight is comparatively lower than butyl rubber sheets, these are closed cells sheet which are good in absorbing vibrations, noises & mainly heat. The purpose of deadening is to change the resonance of a metal. These sheets are available with different industrial raw material suppliers, If anyone needs these sheets then let me know, I will help them in arranging that.

The positive thing is that these sheets doesnt produce odor in summer season unlike Butyl rubber sheets.

A closed cell foam application is for sound absorption. Will not do anything for vibrations. The rubber that you installed is the vibration dampener.

Please I want to buy these sheets from sargodha and I want to install in my Honda civic 2006. The car is in perfect condition but noise and all things don't add up the joy to 100% drive. I have seen many videos on YouTube doing the same. Luckily found your forum

I decided to do sound deadening with my baba's car to overcome the noise last year. But he refused and said, get your own and then make this DIY experiment on it. Now, I am making this venture with my friend's old modelled Charade. We are just following online tutorials and have removed carpets, seats and door panels. Though it was a tough job but we managed to complete it.

Now, we are confused between Dynamat products and its alternates. Like some online guides consider Dynamat SuperLite is one of the best product with lightweight but on the other hand, when we tried to get one online it was hard to find any reliable seller but we found some good products here. But can't say anything about this shopping site because we never bought anything from here.

It would be great if you suggest any local store within the Lahore area. Secondly, we also found Dynamat alternatives here like Hushmat and Noico. When we see the ease of installation and affordability then yes, alternatives are the winner. When we talked with an auto expert then he suggested us to go with Hushmat because we are beginners. But when I checked the price here it's quite high for us. Isn't it?

As an expert what are your views on this? Secondly, are there locally made sound deadening mats for beginners? To overcome the budget?
