DIY Mini H1 Bixenon Projectors

Recently I got hold of Mini H1 6.0 Bixenon Projectors Stage 3 kit from a very trusted and honest seller Ibad Shafi aka KeiWorks12. Originally the kit included Apollo shrouds but they were very big to be fitted in the lights of my corolla (CE104). Ibad bhai provided me Gatling Gun shrouds which were fitted easily.

Lens covers removed from the housing.

Removed glare shield, bulb holder and the retainer.

Screwed the shrouds on the projectors. I then put the silicon washers on the shafts of the projectors.

Slid the projectors through front and put the H4 adapter (curve facing outwards) from back on the shaft. Screwed the locking ring (don't tight too much). Put back the stock retainer spring on the adapter.

New look of lights and fitted back on the car.

Wiring is very easy. A H4 harness is provided to facilitate quick and instant connection. In simple words, it is from grip to grip.

Initially the cut off was not aligned since the bulb is fixed tilted.

I had to trim the slit on H4 adapter to adjust projector's rotational.

MashaAllah what a simple and straightforward install. It's amazing too that these mini H1's fit with almost little to no modification at all in these indus corolla headlights.
Btw brother please shed some light as to how did you open and reseal the headlights? Did you put them in an oven or use a heat gun? And where did you fix the ballasts?

I'm also waiting for my Mini H1 stage 3 kit (courtesy @keiworks) to arrive and this post has been really helpful.

Thanks. I got the lenses removed by a guy who deals in buffing and repairing head lights. I haven't sealed the lenses yet as re sealing will be done by the same guy. You can use a hair dryer to remove the lens. Put the head light in a box big enough to accommodate the light. Make a small hole in the box where a hair dryer can be fixed. Seal the box properly and start the hair dryer for about 15 minutes. The heat in the box will soften the sealant and then you can remove the lens by pulling out carefully. For re sealing, use the hair dyer to soften the sealant section by section and then fix back the lens by inserting it in the housing. I will suggest to visit the shop and get it done by some professional.

@shamaal: congrats bro, now you will notice that night driving is way better than the halogen bulbs, projectors are just awsome, no way near to the halogen bulbs ...
And yes, Ibad bro has quality stuff and very much knowledge about projectors too, i also purchased 2 pairs of projectors from him, till now going perfect, recommended seller ...
