Looking good, this is exactly how dealers hide deployed airbags in Jdms

its possible. thats y, its better to check before hand if the car is equipped with a passenger airbag.

This Prado is the very good Prado. You will ask why? Main points in its favour are following:

1. Simple with less options (less gimmicks to go faulty).
2. No wide body kit or side skirts.
3. Black bumpers.
4. Manual gearbox.
5. Beige interior.
6. Steel wheels (no alloys).
7. Thin tyres (means cheaper to replace and less fuel consumption, less stress on power steering and other suspension parts).

All in all only practical stuff is present which is required from an SUV and you do not have to pay for any fancy stuff. Fancy stuff also is plasticky, breaks very soon and very often and is costly to repair. And if you don't repair then it affects resale price.

Ok so I know alot of people own the 120 series Prado's and these being toyota's, there is no doubt you can hardly break them. They wont let you down. However, with age, you will start to realize the small problems that can turn out be extremely annoying. Im gonna do a write up here on the DIYs for the 120 series. The main post will be updated with some of the common problems and how to tackle them.

this was bought from toyota dealership. wasnt a london import. plastics are fine, it was just the dash that cracked after a few weeks of exposure to the summer heat.

This is early model surf prado etc dash problem, nothing to do with origin of import

@devils_smile Thank you for posting about this issue. I am faced with similar problem for quite sometime and haven't found a good solution to it as I am unable to get the exact color matched. I noticed you mentioned that once get a new pad for 65K. Can you kindly recommend any store or person who deals in this? And if you have any other recommendations do share. And once again thank you for the awesome post!
