M glad to hear the topic name, its not for particular model, i believe its for civic's gens, well i also did n learned alot by DIY, i can post cluster cleaning, changing doors pins, wire tucking job, coilovers adjustments, seats, carpets assemble disassemble jobs n offcourse detailing

still the issues u have had point to the fact that the previous owner lied about actual millage. Civic are great cars and if kept properly won't show their true age wrt to their drive, that's why alot of people sell their by reversing their odo and cheat

The can was used very carelessly..
Just imagine one thing the previous owner did,t even bought the central locking motor instead he got it repaired. He was owning oriel and did,t had money to buy a new motor and when i bought the car the headrest where stuck because someone pulled them towards the back and their rods were bent , cigarette lighter was,t working because someone kept lighter pressed for so long that i burnt the lighter.
The car is,t in bad condition it,s not just well maintained by previous owner. i got it,s engine computer checked by Honda they said the engine is in perfect condition no problem at all , the car have not even a single part painted just a dent repair and three scratches when i bought it....

is your car made out of mud?

that is a crazy amount of "stuff" stuck to your car, I clayed my car here - the white diesel MB, it saw about 180 kms everyday driving on highways, it was really rough to touch, no water beading even with the priciest of waxes etc etc. Its claybar was cleaner than that.

MB = Motee Bhains according to my wife - she considers it her "sautan"

as i told before the previous owner was an giant idiot , the paint is heavily oxidized , small scratches all over the body which occur due to cleaning the car without water , heavy swirls and sure due to all this a lot of contaminants and i,m sure this is the first ever detailing session of this car in 9 years and 70k km drive , but i,m happy the session is giving very good result will post some very soon

So i desperately wanted a DA power system but it was expensive and will be almost useless for me after this detailing session so discussed the problem with my father and look what he made for me and wool pad attached to a backing plate , cost = 350

And here comes my JAAN Dewalt Drill Machine
It can do Hammer Drill , Simple Drill and Bolt jobs at different torques. It have 3 speeds.
By using bolt job i can adjust the max pressure at which the machine will do the job if i apply too much pressure it will stop rotating by itself so its safe also..

Now the results that i achieved from it. This is trunk portion full of swirls and medium depth scratches..

Also look at the 50/50 comparison that dark band is untreated part it was under the tape...
