my query is regarding the thimble attachment for defogger, its screen part got broken, any ideas guys how to stick it back, just talked to my computer vendor, and first thing i heard from him is " sir g sunday ko tu rehn dia karo " but he said that thermal paste wont conduct currnet, so what should be it then

I think soldering with silver will work.

i would've done it kasam se sif dar lagta hai k sudden temp change se glass break na ho jaye, anything like that silver paint and stuff comes to mind ????????

Conductive paint to available hai.And redbull used it to repair his car's defogger.But it will not work here coz u need to solder.As for sudden temp change,what i suggest it to first use a hair-dryer on the glass to increase it's temp and then do the soldering.And just to be sure if it will work first try it on some normal window glass.if it works there then it will surely work on back screen coz it's tempered glass.

Nice but just one problem. Where to get the conductive marker etc in Lahore. I have previously also seen such DIYs but am not able to get my hands on the conductive marker, tape or paint. Will really appreciate if some one tells me from where to get it in Lahore or even if it exists in Lahore.

^^ not a bad idea, you may come to repair with your machine, if someting goes wrong, i will pull out screen from your car

I'm pretty sure that it'll work.I tried it with normal soldering wire.It doesn't bonds to the timble.

Tell me one thing guys, how many of you have the City model from 2004 to 2007 and have a bad defogger.
