@ aghazi
i live in gulberg3 and have khyber 94 with newly rebiult engine so i wanted to increase my pick n drcrease consumption s mine is a monster as it drinks up all petrol n smokes all cng with lo mileage
i m also looking 4 cold air intake and planning to 1 at home
so aghazi if can help me cutting my plugs so man hats off 2 u toooooooooooooooooooooooo
the results of side gapped plugs are equal to more expensive Pluse plugs.(Y)

i think they dont have good effects on engine
I think they have better effect on engine especially on CNG.
You get almost 15 to 20% increase in power and on petrol its just amazing.
side gapped plugs do have bad effects on engine....coz they are against the concept of controlled combustion...in standard plugs burning starts from one side and moves towards whereas inthis concept the spark straight moves toward piston...they are good for racing but can damage the pistons
Noman u think like this or do you have any solid proof?
i dont think that side gapping as any harmful effect on engine bcuz piston works only if there is a combustion theres no point that the direction will effect piston as it as to work when combustion takes place and for ur kind information all cars on earth do not run efficiently bcuz every car leaves a % of unburnt fuel on atmosphere n we r only tryin 2 decrease % to run engine efficiently n nature friendly thats all the in chamber has to be burnt efficiently for smoth ride ok
i've been running side gapped plugs for years in my VW's and have had no issues.
also did it in my vitz....
Any one has an idea of bosch super 4 plugs,,,,which has 4 tips.....
in performance and economy
i was using 4 tips plugs before they give no performance or any difference at all.
I changed them because after using them for a month or so i started facing engine stalling problem so tried changing plugs back to normal and prob was solved.
But now i tried side gapping and the results are amazing the performance and fuel economy increased.

regarding side gapping it was my assumption as far as i understood the technique
Don't Bocsh 4-tip already come side-gapped?
i installed side gapped plugs in my vitz but no gain in performance didnt calculated the fuel average yet.i have just cutted down electrode arm as in the pics but haven't adjusted the gapping between electrode and electrode arm because i dont know the recommended gap for vitz,if any body could share the measurement of gap to be used in side gapped plugs then it will be very helpful.
if anyone has done it in santro plz advise how much the gap should be kept??

did this technique today in my car n bike
results in bike r awesome car in also responsing well but drove a little so post more results soon about mileage, pick ,acceleration
thanx racer1
it took 1 hour n i ended with three cuts in my finger
will it work on my 1000 cc suzuki khyber ??
mine is khyber n it works gr8 in it just decrease the gap a little bit from original n u r fine ok n u need to readjust ur fuel to air ratio ifur on cng bcuz i did
I did it in my baleno99 (petrol) and results are very good. Fuel economy has increased as well as pick. One thing i noticed is that the engine warms-up earlier then before when i was using standard plugs (w/o side gapping).
