Bro unwrap the carpet from inside the trunk from the fenders side and apply foam there as well I have the same city as yours and I did it myself as well took hours to do that. You will need small peices of underlay to stick there as the fenders side is not flat

@sidrulz bro the underlay you used isnt that thick well if possible I'd show u the underlay I used its about 0.5inch thick

bro the underlay we used was around 10-12 mm (notice 3rd pic of sid's first post and 1st pic of second post). only in the pic it looks thin because of the angle. and Sid's rear fender flexes so much that even an inch thick layer of underlay is not going to do anything. i am thinking of three extreme solutions now as there is a lot of space behind the carpet on the fender side.

using a layer of thick rubber/coal tar but that is absolute extreme and only adviced if u are going to keep the car indefinitely
using a jute mat sheet (door mat). i THINK it might absorb some shakes
using rubber door mat or the car mat pieces.

maybe next week we will try 2 and 3 and see what happens.

Sir g photoshoot to aap ka bhi kerna tha... aap aye hi nahi. waisay yaar why take the sheets off? i dont think it will effect the resale in any way. they can be removed but then it will require some elbow grease to clean up.

according to sidrulz, he enjoyed the dampening on the way back so i guess its working

^^^ might i suggest something ? though i myself didnt do it cause my fender got fixed with the 0.5-0.65 inch underlay i used(was definitely much thicker than the one in the pic)...and i double layered it at the fenders.. byt maybe im satisfied cause my system is SQL and not SPL...sids is a monster

but being the DIY'er that i am...for you sid...i will suggest this..as it aint permanent so worth a shot...

so what u shud do is get a custom "brace" made from a woodworks guy... and put it between the fender and the "lohay ki patri" that is in front of it... and do it so that it is a SNUG FIT....use samad bond if u have to...and even self taping screws for the "patri" side...

this shud stop the rattling.. definitely...

sid's fender flexes so much it makes noise and u cant put ur hand on it. it will still flex with the piece of wood as on the other side, sid already has an amp rack built that is a square of wood on which he has mounted two amps. that side still flexes though a lot less than other side. just a piece of wood would not be sufficient

the main reason for the fender flex might be that if you notice the part where the rear wheel arch meets the fender body inside, there is a gap there and this gap is basically the air exhaust area. if you put ur hand on the part where the rear bumper meets the fender near the wheel arch while sid's system is playing, you can feel air leaking from there. fast moving air between two bodies causes flexing, so i guess if we work on this area to limit air flow, the flexing might reduce.

Sir it wud be..i guess u didnt understand...here is a pic.... at atleast try it out...aesay hi rule out na karein... just make sure its a snug fit...the fender might buldge out very slightly from outside because of this...but ever so slightly that it wud be hardly noticable....and use taping screws on the opposite side of the fender on the "Patri" ...

u cant compare putting hand over something and having a solid brace control the things flexing...

oh ok i understood now. yes its doable but thats just stopping it from moving and not dampening. if the vibrations are too much (and in sid's car they are) it will press the fender so much that it will become out of shape. trust me his rear fender flexes more than half an inch. the brace will knock out the fender into its shape.
