Do 90/100 watt H4 lamps safe In Cultus (2000-2016)

Is it safe to use these 100/90 bulbs in cultus ? Do these bulbs will melt hosing? Also should I install relays with these bulbs?

I have been using it in my mehran since 2019.
Yes, via relay. Since todate, i have no issues. Light is too good. Just make sure ur low beam is directed on road.and rarely use high beam it will blind driver coming from other side or infront of you.

PS. Experts will not recommend it on PW. BECAUSE it may damage reflectors due to excessive heat. Yes, in some cases of HID, a burn out has been reported too.

You can btw use 55/60W philips leds 6000k lumen. They will be around 4k.

Do relay also have power ratings like Fuse ? So 100Ampere relay should be installed? Do I need to upgrade wiring? May be Cultus Headlight wiring is for 60W bulbs

The housing is built for a 60w bulb, not a 100w, it will melt it for sure, the first item to melt is the little bulb reflector in front of the bulb.

The second item to melt would be the wiring and switch.

Whoever says that it wont melt, is being economical with the truth.

For ampacity

55w x 2 = 110w
Divide by 14 (running v)
We get 8.5 amps

100x2 means 200 would mean 14.2 amps which is abt a 75% increase in load. (You really think a car manufacturer will give you a 75% increase tolerance in their factory wiring?)

These will burn your grips and the wiring. I used these when i was a kid and i still regret that day when the local ustad recommended these to me. Get an LED bulb instead with a proper cutoff

Brother, seniors have already told you that its dangerous. please use LEDS of philips ,55/60w H4. They will fit perfectly in your car.

In my case, Wiring and other things were changed (as per current requirement, work was done by chachoo's workshop electrician)

So zulfiqar Bhai what's solution? Which 60W bulb should be used which have high lumen /Kelvin also not much hard on pocket? Checked forums LED bulb is not a good choice Cultus headlights , so filament bulb is required?
