A few months back I had to change the oil in my FZR. Previously I have used Total 20W50, Shell20W50, Zic5W40 in my bike. Both Total and Shell have worked great. ZIC is good for cars but not for bikes. Last time when I had to buy the oil I asked the shopkeeper for Total oil which he didn't have. Rather he suggested me to go for MICKING 20W50, saying that when I use this one I shall forget the other oils. So I bought it...... complete waste of money. The engine didn't give a good feel and even with the cold engine gave a feeling like it had got extremely hot.
I had hardly driven the bike for 100km with that oil and decided to change the oil, engine is more precious than oil. Today I bought Havoline 20W50 for the first time, and let me tell you that this oil is a killer. All of a sudden the engine had retained its old smooth feel, throttle gave a very good response and the engine had much lighter feel.
Havoline is the best one I have used so far. I suggest you guys also try it, avoid ZIC and MICKING.
Ride safe.
