Does driving city 06 with hard steering (eps light on) cause damage to tyre or other part

I am facing problem of hard steering in my honda city 06 on regular basis. I am planning to get it fixed after 2 weeks since i have no issue in driving with hard steering. I just wanted to know if it can cause any breakdown of other part in my car due to driving my eps while it is hard.

For other parts, I do not know, but as far as tyres are concerned, I do not think they will get affected by it.
