Previous(back in 2020) Islamabad excise would give number plates on the spot. Is this the case now as well? I'm asking because I applied for registration through the dealership and they sent the picture of challan form and said that the number plates are not provided at the spot now and I have to wait. Its been more than a week and no updates yet.
Yes it can happen ,I registered my car quite recently and I got the plates later , I waited for the smart card and when it arrived I collected both things together from excise to save a trip.
