Does Running AC in a Parked Car for Hours Damage the Engine?

AOA. If I keep the car AC running while the car is parked for 2–3 hours at a stretch, could it damage the engine or any other parts? I understand it’s not normal to run the AC in a parked car, but I’m wondering, if I do it occasionally, what parts of my Alto 660 could be affected or damaged?

All the plastic and rubber parts under the bonnet will age rapidly.

Cars are designed for 99% movement on roads, so YES, if you park it for long time with running A/C, heat will not dissipate as it should be eventually many external components will start to fail (which are not water cooled), not only in an hour or so but doing it more frequently.
