Does Suzuki Liana Compatibel with ODBll scanner

Dear all

Plz guide that suzuki liana is compatible with ODBll Scanner? if YEs then will scanner get the accurate data from the ECU ?? and where is the port located to connect the scanner ? (talking about the ODBll scanner seen on this form a few days back of blue color )

I have a OBD scanner EML 327 and it should be compatible with Liana but last time it worked well with Honda and Corolla but somehow, HTC OBD application was not able to trace the protocol of Liana. Need to make some search to find the reason for it.

Dear Thanks a lot for your reply and detail but if you can plz furterh guide that the ODB scanner ll (like of small blue color) will this work or not. and from where that ELM scan tool can be buy ?? and will it be easy and effective as ODBll graphical user interface.

Sorry for digging this thread out, out of no where because I just wanted to tell you people.. I just bought ELM327 bluetooth adapter yesterday and it wasnt working so i researched and found that Suzuki OBDs are different from universal OBD protocols. The slot is same like OBD2 but wiring is different so regular OBD2 device wont work without hacking...

Well thats strange...If Liana is compatible with OBDII and has same shaped port then wiring should also be as similar to any other brand....
can anyone else shed light on this issue as i am interested in buying ELM327 adapter for my Baleno....really confused now...

Suzuki has different protocols for On Board Diagnostics, which can be detected by OBDMATE type devices which are offered by a PakWheeler member @hkaacdka has replied my post as follows:

*Sorry @giftedsoul, @iabozdar the cheap scanners dont work on Liana.. The one that works is around 5-7k.. I had bought 1 but sold it to a *mechanic! It works on ALL cars!
*If you want one, I can order it for you! (but I would suggest search here first, someone might already be selling it! its called OBD MATE

it was written on the website that this thing (elm327 V1.5) will work on Suzuki protocols but its not working on any model i have checked it on corolla 2012 its working there....

I have LSuzuki Liana 2007. This addaptor worked for me:
OBD2 Bluetooth Code Reader FOXWELL ELM327 V1.5 Car Adapter Auto Scan Tool.
The android app I used was Torque lite.

Suzuki doesn't support standard chips, so a 25k80 chip is required to scan Suzuki vehicles. Buy a 25K80 OBD 2 Scanner, It will work With Liana
