I have a toyota corolla gli 2011 model. Due to corona virus situation, My car is parked for almost 2 months now, I just drive it for 1 to 2 KM's after about every 2 weeks. My car has after market remote door lock system installed of "horizon".
So last time when I was trying to lock my car using the remote, it was not working maybe because of weak remote batteries, so I manually closed all the doors and after closing them manually I also closed them using remote.
Now today when I tried to open the doors using remote the doors are not getting unlocked although the car indicators blink and the alarm sounds. Also I can hear that "tick" sound of door opening but doors are not unlocking.
I can't open the doors using keys the key doesn't work for both driver and passenger side doors it was as it is when I bought the car (used car).
Any suggestions?
