Can u shed some light on de-rusting the doors before putting the sheets.. How to do that? And whats body cavity?

I put sheets in one single piece, which was not a good experience. The electrician messed up the sheet while replacing central locking motor/gun.

So my suggestion would be to put sheets in atleast two or three pieces. Keep the sheets near central locking motors/guns (blue region) separate from the rest.

you can buy permatex rust treatment from khi. you first sand the rust. then you apply the rust treatment, leave it for a few hours and then paint over it

the reason for one sheet and the strong tape to hold it in is to prevent vapor from destroying the door cards and also sogging up the interior. Multiple sheets with holes will leak vapor into the car.

How hard is it to remove the plastic and reapply it? I find it very easy.

I do hope you took the equal money for the plastic sheet from his charges because he actually cut n ripped your original item. Either that or he installs a new item.

sand it down to remove all specks of it - spray some primer on it and finish with body wax (assuming this is inside the doors only)

Yes its the inside. Can u name any good primer and body wax brand name? It'll be helpful to search for. And by the way, am planing to stick some Jumbolon sheet in the door with Samad Bond do u think it'll be good to reduce the outside noise?

jumbolon sheet will soak water , dont use it. If you can find really thin foam sheet then stick it on the door card so it goes between the plastic barrier and the card. The best sound deadening would be to get pieces of leaded sheets like dynamat and stick it on the door skin itself inside.

For primer - go to a car paint selling shop and buy it from there - they sell cans too nowadays.

Errmm one last thing...
Last time i opened the door panel i noticed there is a metal rod running across the door horizontally and the door metal sheet is kind of welded to it or there were rubber type strips between the metal sheet and the metal rod (may be to stop metal sheet from rattling) the problem is that rubber kind of thing is sticked off from there now the metal sheet Rattles when i close the door... What can be done for that?

make two parts
arrange them on the linkage and bond them together using samad bond
