Doors Repaint but shine is not good

I have Honda City 2009 with Lapis Blue Metallic Color (Dark Blue). I recently got my doors repainted due to a small accident. Paint is done by a good painter, and also compound is done after 1 week of repaint, but still shine is not upto the mark and doors shine doesn't match the rest of the car. Please suggest

Did you matched the color with the color code mentioned on the vehicle?
Painter/Denter might be an expert,the source from where you obtained the paint?

Color code was exactly mentioned on the car, there is no difference in shade, I am only talking about the shine, it is not same as the rest of the car.

Factory paint has a layer of clear coat on top of the paint which is the main reason of shine in the paint. However, when repainting, the painter mixes hardener into the paint which makes it dry faster and provides gloss in the paint. Hence the difference between the two. If your repainted panel is more glossy then that can be fixed through cutting compounds and wax. If the repainted panels are less glossy then there is no particular solution to that. Every time you wash the car, use a liquid wax on it for extra shine but this is a temporary solution. or have the panels repainted. Or bring the car to me and i will try and increase the shine of only those 2 door panels by trying a ceramic/glass coating on it. I hope this helps.

Your car is a metallic colour so minimum it's a two stage painting procedure basecoat/clear coat.if you're painter has added hardner to your basecoat his done it wrong!.You have to clear coat the base colour in order for it to shine and to be protected from the elements.
There's a number of reasons the clear coat doesn't shine,it may have had to much thinner added or incorrect hardner added,he may have used single pack clear coat (cheaper),the spray gun canister may not been clean,or his polishing procedure isn't right.
To check his done clear coat you can compound a small area if the colour doesn't transfer on to the cloth it's been clear coated.
If your happy with the colour match you could have it clear coated only but make sure you use a good quality two pack clear coat.
