According to the manual first oil change will be on 5000km should I wait till 5k or you recommend earlier change?

late for me then :). i had my car pampered to 60 without having gears to perform at their best. even now i shift at 2500 rpm. if i do more than that then the fuel average goes down sometimes 3-4 km / l.

In the post quoted below I used 3/4 of a turn reference from manual as well but as you can see, experience makes you handle things a little differently, same is the case with first oil change, newly built engine is expected to produce fine metal shavings which would end up in the oil and oil filter therefore it is better to change them much sooner, this is considered more important for rebuilt engines and relatively less important for factory built modern engines where parts are machined with much tighter tolerances therefore they produce less metal shavings but they are there nonetheless so yeah its a good preventive measure.

3/4 turn, no way - half a turn with hand is more than enough to fight it off the next time. - the secret for successive removal next time is to lube the O ring with "new" engine oil before installing. Another good option is to prefill the filter about half way, this wets the media inside and prevents blowout.

Your point is completely valid of new engines shedding a lot of metal, this is the very reason new engines are shipped with a heavy duty oil filter from the factory along with a unique oil blend in it. You will not find that oil filter as a spare part in the aftermarket.

It is a good practice to change out power steering hydraulic oil about every 5 years, its an unfiltered system and goes under heat stress a lot, eventually this oil becomes very thick from being beaten to death. Changing it out is easy on a rack and pinion car and you only use a litre or so of this fluid.

Make sure the replacement fluid is actually compatible with your car. e.g. Honda have their own unique mineral oil in the steering system some newer BMW, MB and Audi take CHF11s hydraulic motive fluid, most japanese cars take ATF in them.

Do not spray WD40 into your door locks or latches, it will leave an oil film which will attract dust, this causes a rough paste to form and wear out your locks.

graphite powder is nice but can stain your clothes, you can use beeswax but will take some finagling to work (wax heater or candle pot)

also if your car does not have keyless entry then make it a habit to lock the doors with the key from the outside, this way you will never lock the key inside.

When changing differential oil on your vehicle make sure you can get the "fill" plug out first, This ensures you can actually refill the differential once it drains out.

If the fill plug is rusted/stripped/frozen in place and you drain the differential, you cannot fill it back up.

Well I was not aware of that fact, so in the light of above do you suggest doing first oil change sooner than manufacturer specified interval for a factory new engine is an unnecessary or maybe rather harmful step? Since aftermarket oil and oil filter might not perform as well as anticipated during break-in.
In such case I consider myself corrected.

Always turn the all lights off before changing bulbs,not doing so will most certainty blow few fuses.
And guys brake discs and pads DO NOT need servicing please stop wasting money on it.

Yes you can but this will shorten overall life of radiator fan

Except engine oil i never replace any other oil in automatic 1600cc car. Is it neccessary to change oil if there is not a single issue uptil now..
