• Can anyone confirm the rood condition of Thandiani ? Is it okay to drive
• Also what about road condition difficulty wise ? Is it more steep than Nathia Gali, new murree road (motorway last part) ?
• Can anyone suggest good restaurants on way to thandiani? any contact numbers for advance booking ?

Road condition is OK. yes ok to drive.

Road is narrow as compare to Nathia Gali Road with no railroads.

Some sharp turns are there.

Not steep than Murree Motor way.

Steep like murree to nathia gali.

No need to take lunch on the way as it is 1-2 hour drive from Abbotabad. At a point Kala pani there might be some resturaant... But don't rely.

It is bit similar to murree-Nathiagali road but only difference is that it is more narrow and no traffic guidance is available.

it will give u a fair idea of the road condition, Your Vehicle should be in top notch condition or u can see in the video passengers walking on foot and only drivers in some vehicles on steep climbs

  its steepness is complimented with very sharp turns where your speed will get zero followed by a very steep climb.

  For thandyani visit if you are with family, get urself rooms booked either in abbotabad or nathiagali and visit thandyani by starting ur journey early in the morning and come back in the afternoon or evening or if you are going with friends then you can camp at the top.
  There are small dabba resturants on top which can serve u tea, samosas etc but no motels, yes there is one govt resthouse.

enroute there are no hotels as its a very short journey but take time due to steep climb througout the way.

rd to thandiani is newly made by army but it is somewhat narrow takes 45mins from abbottabad. overall condition is very gud, food is availible there,,,, u can get a gud chicken karahi, as I did.....

road condition is pretty good...though it's a bit narrow....had to drive most of the time in 1st gear :D...food is readily available

I want to visit thandiyani on my honda civic aitomatic. What should i have in mind while driving. I've never driven in hilly areas, always used motorway for long travel.
