Driving Licence Islamabad/Rawalpindi

Aslam o Alikum everyone
Sorry if its in wrong category, if so, place it in correct one

I want to get a driving licence
Temporary and Permanent address on my CNIC is of Rahimyar Khan, Punjab.

I recently shifted to Islamabad and doing Job here. I went to Rawalpindi authority for licence along with letter from my Company that I am currently residing here (Islamabad address). They said you should have Rawalpindi address on cnic or current location of office and house residing in should be Rawalpindi.
The website of Islamabad Traffic Police also states that CNIC should have Islamabad Address at least in temporary.

I wanted to know if letter from my company will work for Islamabad Licence. Which will be easiest path I should be taking to get licence. changing address on cnic will also require documentations or proofs I guess. Anyone went through same? Please guide

Ps. There's Motorway Police Driving Licencing Authority near Kashmir Road, will they entertain me in this case?

you can apply for license in Rawalpindi Being in Punjab it will not an issue.

Islamabad Being Capital Territory have weird rules which are mode dependent of local administration, please visit NHMP with your cnic & company letter.

Update:
I went to Islamabad Traffic Police Office along with letter from my firm and electricity bill
They said they dont entertain letters anymore. get your cnic address changed first.
I went to Nadra office and has applied for address change, It will approximately take 22 days for delivery. and I will apply after that for licence

Bro go to motorway police driving licence authority office in h8 Islamabad. They do not ask for isb address and their licence is more authentic than itp or pindi as all the process is computerised.

Oh, I was not sure whether they will issue the driving licence. I should have visited them instead of itp. Now I will have to wait till my cnic arrives : (

NHMP issue driving license to NICOP & CNIC holders irrespctive of permanant address.
