Hi guys its a good initiative by Punjab govt to digitize Driving License, with the help of DLIMS by Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) They made the whole process easy and convenient for applicants. Now you can check your Driving License authenticity with the online system.

Is there any way to upgrade to this new one? I just got mine in September and it is the old one.
In fact mine got delyaed from July to September because they said the system is getting centralized and that's why it is taking time.

I think its not possible because my own younger brother got his license in august and its the old paper one and you cant upgrade unless it gets expired, mine is expiring in December i ll get the new one inshaALLAH.

my driving license was issued from kasur and it has expired. at present im in pindi. can i apply it through this site and what would be the procedure. anyone...kindly help

Sir you cant apply online for license they had only put requirements for applying, if you have a present address in pindi than you can apply from there to respective licensing branch other wise you ll have to apply from kasur. Renewal of license requires E form which you can download from their site in downloads section.

so that means, i have to go kasur and then apply,,, and there is no option i can apply through mail ...

certainly you ll have to go there to apply for renewal that's the only option you'd left with.

License verification is a good tool but many things can be incorporated to the website to somewhat automate this process (specially for Renewal or New issuance Purposes) in this like form filling for new applicants ie the applicants fills in the details online on the database and it automatically get updated online, can go for esignature or print form after filling for direct submission etc.

Yes maybe they would start it in future but some thing are hard to do even with the proper resources.

Is this facility for all the districts of the province?
How much time does it take for renewal of the license?
I submitted for renewal on 28th Oct, 2015 from Khushab, till the system does not recognize the CNIC?
What to do?

Yes its for whole Punjab, i have no idea how much time it takes to get renewed.

Asalam O Alaikum Brother!
My driver's license was issued back in 2008 but every time I try to verify it, it gives an error this I have pasted below:
