Thank you for this information. I read your post carefully, and nowhere do you mention if they do a driving test or eye test. Did they not do a driving or parking test, and an eye test? Any other test like showing you road signs, and then asking you to explain them?

My second question is that I live in Bahria town, and according to their site, there the two closest locations are as follows;

1) ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER OFFICE PAJIAN MOR NEAR 1122 RESCUE OFFICE RAIWAND, LAHORE

2) LOS, THOKAR NIAZ BAIG

I looked on google maps, but couldn't locate either office.l Does anyone have any idea where these are actually located?

Yea the do sign test and driving test
Office is on multan road go towards thokar from bahria you will see it on your left ask someone they will tell you

in my case they didnt do anything. Just had to update my info, pay the fee and that was it. Simple process.

yes renewal, myself and a relative. We went to the office at liberty market. No eye test (i wear specs) or sign test.

A point to add, both our licenses were already in their database which is why it was so easy. I think if someone has an older license which isn't in their database the procedure might be longer.

Thanks for the info, Roony. My license was issued in 2012, and I have checked online on the Lahore Traffic Police website, and it is definitely in there database.

Did you need to provide them with the medical certificate
(Form B) signed and stamped by a hospital)? Or was it included in the file you got from their guy sitting outside the office? Or did you only have one form (Form E) in the file?

When you submit the form, you surrendered your expired license with the forms, correct?

For renewal you just pay the fee and I think get new pic taken and that's it. Go to liberty parking if that's close. Only takes 20-30 mins.

Well story goes that me and my relative we reached there about 3-4pm I think and it closed, as in the guy outside who gives you the forms has said no more new applications. Only a few people were left inside in the queue.

We ended up chatting with some police officers outside who were on a smoke break and didnt know at the time they were the ones who were in charge of renewals. They let us renew it when all others had finished. Didnt get nor filled any form. Just took a pic, updated info and paid the fee. So I dont know what forms are used. But again, I dont there is any issue about getting any medical certificate. Procedure is the same at all their offices, just go the nearest one and see what they say.

paid in cash. Came in about a week. This was about 4m ago.

Today, I made the trip to the driving license office at Liberty market to RENEW my expired license.

The process was simple and excluding the waiting time which was about 20 minutes, the actual process only took about 5 minutes.

There is no sign or eye test. You fill out a form titled FORM E, attach two passport sized photographs, and a copy of your CNIC card, along with your original drivers license. You hand these documents over to the officer who then asks you to fill out a ledger on the desk with your details, and does the necessary work on his computer to update the system.

The officer will let you know how much the cost for the renewal is, you will pay cash, and by the time you walk out the door, their system is already updated, and it will show that your license has been renewed on the online City Traffic Police DLIMS system at http://dlims.punjab.gov.pk/

The actual card I was told I will receive in 7-10 days by TCS.
