Driving technique in vitz 2013 helpful in fuel economy?

Slam to All..
im regular user of pak wheels.. and mostly search opics and get helped usually..
before vitz 2013 i had cultus..
vitz drive n charm is far far better than cultus but one thing fuel economy... i do all thing which are helful in fuel economy.
but in cultus i mostly press clutch when i have to slow down... mean very avoiding breaking exect emergency.. in this technique i get more than 22km/l.
But in my lovely vitz can this technique can work? But when i lift my foot from acceletr vitz going to stop as its hav automatic break..
shoul i don't try this in vitz it can harm to gear/transmission systm?

I don't believe vitz has automatic braking, just lift of the throttle and because it's cvt just keep a slight toe on the throttle when at a constant speed, the car will automatically switch to a more fuel-efficient ratio, I owned one for a brief period and with very little throttle press at 80km/h the car remained very quiet and rpms low,

I am driving vitz from past 4 years, and I have only one tip which helps u alot in fuel efficiency.
Just put ur foot as much lightly on the accelerator as possible. For example, I drive my vitz at speeds between 80-100 km/h by pressing pedal 15 - 25% only. This will saves u alot of fuel.
And about using less brakes, it will take u sometime to become "used to" to this CVT auto transmission vehicle as u came from manual tranny cultus. So just enjoy ur drive.

But one thing still confusing bcoz someone said that in vitz cvt... it is designed as foot should on acceleratr or on break... if none is pressed even for short time during driving it will ruin transmission in long term...

No brother, there is nothing so. You can take off your foot from accelerator without using brakes. Means its not compulsory that you should press brake, if your are not pressing accelerator.

For fuel average in any car. Clean air filter regularly.change filter when required. Use quality filter. Maintain tyre pressure 30. Most guadges shows increased pressures
Clean plugs after every 2500 kms. Fill fuel in liters.

The best way to achieve good fuel consumption in CVT is the pulse and glide method. Search it on the internet and give it a read. It'll surely improve your mileage
