Cop cars are for doing some maneuvers which even a 1.7 MN Bugatti can?t do.. It?s not speed which can stop the violators. How can a cop car being fast can stop a racing car on a highway. This car cant do even a pit maneuver. It will just crash.. So Xulfiqar bhae is right.. regular Cop chargers are tuned like in US and can go over 170MPH.

These cop cars are basically show cars. They won't be involved in hot pursuits etc. and would mostly patrol in the areas having major tourists attractions. So like others "blings" that Dubai have, these cars would be another addition.

the ford crown victoria police interceptor shown above are simple heavy duty cars, extremely long life and tough as anchors, you can use them to tip over Land Cruisers if you want.

Too bad Ford pulled them from production and now PDs are buying chargers and tauruses. The Dodge Charger is very rapid but not as heavy duty as a Crown Vic, Now Why the hell Dubai wants these supercars in the PD.. I think its a small man syndrome going on.

you are right! I think its depends upon the PD as well. in NYC and upstate NY througway.. still using alot of Ford Victorias..I have seen like brand new fleet cars.. in neighborhood..
