Back in 97 when I started Dubai Autos my friends and family used to call me "Dubai Seith". At that time i had never been to Dubai for some reason.

Although I have been to Dubai now several times and enjoy going there but every time it has been a short trip. And yet Dubai has something new to offer every time one goes there. Tomorrow on the 17th Again i am leaving for a week long trip to Dubai.

This time i thought i would share my experience with my Pakwheels friends. My excitement revolves around driving great cars and going to see new places like Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, etc.

My in-laws being settled in Dubai have great cars like Audi Q7, Chvorlet Camaro 2010 and Nissan Maxima. I plan to drive all these beauties and a few more.

Will be needing suggestions and recommendations from fellow Pakwheelers regarding places to visit in Dubai which can be fun and exciting. I have already been to Desert Safari, Jet Skiing, All the malls, Wild Wadi, Ski Dubai. Please do share with me if any of you know a good place worth seeing in Dubai.

I will start uploading pics of my trip from tomorrow as it begins.

BTW if you are in Dubai and would like to join us for an Early Morning Desert Drive then do let me know.

Every friday we have this breakfast drive, starting at 6 am and ends up by 9.00 am due to summer heat....this Thursday 17th Jun we also have a Night drive starting at 11 pm, so do let me know if you are interested....my cell 050 454 3774

I am more than tempted to join you. Will sure give you a call as soon as I get there. Will be great to have an adventure. I will be reaching by 17th afternoon, am not sure about joining you for the 17th night drive but will sure join you for the friday morning drive.

dont forget to visit dubai outlet mall. its located at the sheikh zayed road. the dubai-abudhabi highway i think. its damn cheap. i went to dubai when i had to go to abudhabi for the grandprix. loved everything over there. went to wild wadi. its ticket is round usd150 i think but we were given free passes. apart from wild wadi, theres aquaventure and dreamland water park. apart from that, dont forget the desert safari and the bellydance afterwards

and also dont forget to go to Dhow Cruise. its a 2 hour fun filled cruise on the boat at the dubai creek. thats aed 130 or usd 35. then theres this Hatta Mountain Safari. it includes sand boarding, visit to carpet market and heritage village and lunch at 5 star hatta fort hotel. this costs 300 aed. also visit the automobile showrooms located on the sheikh zayed road. specially 'Exotic Cars'. and if u want to do shopping and have low pockets, head out to dubai outlet malls. it has every store from Dkny to Gucci, from Prada to Addidas. each and everything. and the discounts u can avail are from 30%-90%.

The Outlet Mall is on the Dubai / Al-Ain highway and not on the Sheikh Zayed road

try the dragon mart in international city dubai.lots of chinese stuff and decoration sculptures. Liked the humungous 40 foot replicas of times square statues of lions and also of greek gods.
