Dudipatsar Lake in July

I am planning to visit this lake with 2 of my friends, we are looking for a group going there in July so we could join them. One of my friend's friend visited the lake this weekend and he told us that the lake is all covered with snow, so he suggested us to go in the mid or last week of july if you want to see the true beauty of this lake because by that time the snow will be melted.

Thank you for your quick response but i wont be able to join over the coming weekend because of some official commitments

asif bhai leaving for naran day after tmrw on thursday and im planning on visiting dodipatsar. .but i wanted some advice regarding firstly im going with my family so is the hike a feasible family one ?.. and secondly i have no idea whats the route and how far from naran it is

the trek is long and u have to make an overnite stay. if u dont have any experience in trekking plz dont take family along. its a long trek not tuf bt long and if u r not expereinced trekker then i wud suggest u dont take family.
do u have any camping equipment??????
lake will be full of snow these dayz......

also the route starts from besal just behind lulusar lake......
its abt 7-8 hrs walk. altough the slope is gentle. if u dont have any idea about trekking u shud first join up with some group going there. if u dont have camping equipment then dont proceed on trek

Lake is 70% freeze my two friends with different groups have already visited dudipet lake this year . Lake will melt in coming 10 days according to locals.U know this year amount of snow is less this year.

last year, on 10 of july we went to dudipat sar, and a think glass of snow was still floating... But that didnt spoiled the beauty of the lake either. and one or two tents are available at mulla ki basti on the way to dudipat, but you have to be yearly to rent those tents
