thanks everyone for the suggestions.....

so em dropping the idea of advan db bcz if imported r hard to find,due to lack of experience i may not be able to differentiate between them n the smuggled ones!

can bridgestone or dunlop be as good as advan db as far as "cabin-noise" n "fuel-consumption" is concerned?
what price difference would be there if i go for either of these two,compared to "continental"?

Brother I would recommend u Michelin xm2 made in UK. Or hankook korea.

The problems with general tyres is:
Noisy
Hard
Wear out quickly

Eurostar has its benefits as well;

"German Technology - Continental Tyres"
"Fresh"

I have used them on Civic & Corolla, frankly I did not find any thing wrong with them.

Brother just by saying German technology and continental ownership doesn't change the reality that even though continental has bought general Pakistan they haven't upgraded the tyre it's the same old tyre apart from the design. If it was proper German technology then the cc5 which is being imported should have stopped and continental should have been promoting the euro star. And if u have used cc5 or michelin or yokohama or Brigestone then you will feel the difference.

Dunlop SP Sport 9000

I have done a lot of research on Yoko Advan DB vs Dunlop high performance types (Not standard like T1) e.g LM-702 / 703 or even SP Sport 300. And here are my reviews.
Yokohama Advan DB =
- Pretty soft tire
- Less noise
- Good in comfort
- Made for Highways
- Its soft. So thread goes out quicker
- Might be better in economy
- Limit 50K to 60K

Dunlop LM-702 / 703 / SP sport series =
- Not very Hard but neither Soft.
- Not great in Comfort but neither bad.
- Made for Rough and tough terrain as well.
- Wide groves, hense better Road grip.
- Good grip in wet weather.
- It is not sound less like Advan DB because of wider groves.
- Gives you Sporty drive Rather than comfort and economy
- Can be taken upto 80K if maintained well.

CHOICE IS YOURS... Based on above. I am a Dunlop User and love its drive. Dont care If Tire sounds comes in a bit. Neither economy calculation. Enjoy sporty drive. Having Honda City 2015 with Honda Civic Rebourne Rims.. tyre size. 195/65/R15.
Earlier used Dunlop Sp Sport 300 (Really durable and tough tire)
Now using Dunlop LM-702. Recently changed. (Felt like car started floating. Good so far)
