Dunlop Lemans Tires Suck

I got Dunlop Leemans tires in my car about 6-8 months back and during this time one of them got busted hitting a bad patch on road and the other one got its side wall swelled.

When I contacted the dealership, they told me that none of them is covered in warranty ... Now what to do?

This time,go for Yokohama Tyres,they are the best for our climate.

as usual (in PK) all you can do is lose your temper, and complain (to yourself), and when that's over you will have to go out and buy new tyres.

Very sad that customers have no rights in PK.

i m planning to finally buy tyres for my cultus... can u guys recommend me something good...

the car is mostly driven offroad rally style... and few times it gets a dream road....

i checked eco. nice tread and very soft. using dunlop sp sports in 14", like them very much (Y). only the leaman series has problem i guess. they are really hard like F1 eagle

I only like the A539 Yokohamas and ALL pirellis,... great grip and assured quality/warranty.

as the old saying goes "you can pay now or you can pay later", that's why i never skimp on tyres for my cars.

Don't forget that the contact patch for your cars is no larger than 4 postcards!

i ve used dunlop sp sports 13' in my cultus,they proved wonderful with excellent road grip and ive them in my car for last 8 months and am quite satisfied with them.

the sp sport and the LE-man tyres are 2 diff ones, the sp sport are indeed alot better (Y)

I used to love the SP Sport but after a VERY bad aquaplaning incident in my accord (86) i stopped using dunlops all together.

I am using sp sport 490 175/r13 in my cng cultus and they suck. They are soft and feel gripy but I had a very bad accident while I was on those tyres. I was on 80 and had to brake hard to avoid hitting an idiot who stopped his car in the middle of the road. The tyres skidded for at least 15/20 meters and the end result was a collision. I found goodyear gps2 to be much better(both in terms of softness and grip) compared to sp sport 490

Sad to hear your ordeal. Yes, the reality is that in Pakistan till now we don’t have and concert consumer rights/law.

Now let me share my experience of Dunlop LeMan. I have been using these tires for the past 3 years and driven about 50k km, with out any trouble. I have been using Dunlop tires for many years now. Though coming summer would like to try Nexen, Michelin.

I think in your case date of manufacturing could be the
main reason.
