Dunlop Tyres Life

i m using Dunlop Tyres in my mehran....and now they complete their 20,000 km run.......and since last week i notice that when i break a minor skeech sound comes from tyres (i didn't notice this sound before).......
my Question is what is ideal Kms for a tyre life......and what is the reason of this skeech sound?

Max Tyre Life 3- 4 Years on ROad If kept indoors at room temperature for for 2 years or so, they can still be used for 3 years on road.

But keep in mind after the date of manufacturing Rubber have 5-6 years of Life max to prove for what they are buil for.

My experience with dunlop is just to gud !

Had dunlop digi eco in margalla, those tires had about 100k + mileage in 3 years from isb to interior punjab gt roads and motorway but still at the time of selling ride, they were about 50% intact and i dont remember i had once put puncture on them ! They were driven carefully, never being abused.

Now having dunlop sp sport LM 702 in city, they did about 20k so far, i have also observed the screeching sound on turns but its not that much of complaining, very mild sound, not like which usually come from General tires.

My observation, dunlop is lil hard as compared to yokohama, yoko's are very soft and more comfy then dunlop's but they get their life done very quick around 40k max !

@Saint: Very true I have used them on Cultus, and I totally agree to you.

and the funny thing after I got new ones i gave the old ones to a Taxi driver in my street and he is still using them with Tubes in them --- LOL.

I asked him are these the same I gave you he proudly said YES --

My Dunlop LM703 got tread wear of 480 so thats almost max life tyre can have.

Im currently running Digityre ECO,
Previously I was having Kumho,s and they lasted for almost 70k kms
Tyre life mostly depends on kind the roads they are used and the way they are used.
Softer tyres offer more grip but dont last for long.

skeech type sound is because of Heat these days. the tires and the roads are too much hot because of that this sound comes.

I use digi eco in my corolla last time i changed them at 40,000 and got the same tires again

get ur tyre pressure checked
i hope the alignment is fine.
it the sound still comes, its because of soft tyre+summers

bcz i never notice this skeech sound at night....
