Vehicles fall under chapter 87 which can be located & clicked at the bottom of the page.

Duty calcuation is based on new cars, for 5 year old used cars duty calculation is same but value is adjusted 1% per month and maximum 50% on age of the car at the time of arrival & payment of duty taxes for port clearance - procedure

i think the FBR brocure attached for duty strucure is old one,New one says that depriciation will be 1% per month and maximum 50% .And also duty value in USD is less than the current brocure at FBR website.Please recheck

Cars under 1000 CC
add to US$ value Customs duty: 55%, + Import Sales tax 19% (16+3) + income tax on import 5%

Over 1300 under 1500 CC

duty is 60% rest is all same.

Over 1500 under 1800 cc

duty is 75% rest is all same.

Over 1800 under 3000 cc

duty is 100% plus 50% additional regulatory duty rest is all same.

Over 3000 CC

duty is 100% plus addtional 50% regualtory duty rest is all same

All figures are for approximation actual values vary with respect to OEM value of vehicle and net CIF price declared on invoice.

I have a 58 2009 Volkswagen Passat...worth nearly £9500 ATM rougly and purchased it brand new. How much that will cost me if I bring it to Pak including all the taxes. BTW it's 2000 category. Can I make any profit if I decide to sell it laterz...or will it be a complete loss? Thanks in Advance.

TUN is right after sales support is MAJOR problem for non-japanese vehicles therefore other then premium TOP brands other cars carry low value

here is the calculator with 17% sales tax calculation rate previously i made calculator with 15% tax rate. So here is the correction just enter the values in yellow boxes and the jinni will work

The tax calculator infers that the car is imported through normal regime. How can we import through special regime, where duties are levied on the engine size and not the value of the vehicle? Does it have to be a gift ? Can it only be done once in two years, by a Pakistani living abroad? Or can normal importers use this regime?

The calculator seems correct as per the current FBR regulations. I just calculated the cost for a vehicle that a friend is going to import for which the calculator gives about 5% less in value... not sure which one is correct though but a good tool for ball park estimations.

Yaar yeh FOB at time of manufacture kya hota hai?? Matlab mein manufacturing price likhoon?? If i bought it used and got a good deal tou bhi duty manufacture price pe deni paray gi???
