Duty rates on gift scheme cars?

I want to import a gift scheme car. Want to know custom duty rates in pakistan, both for new and used car. Please apprise.

Do u have a blood relative living overseas? only then you can use gift facility. Duty is different on each car, be specific to one or two cars with engine capacity, model year, make etc if you want proper answer.

Thanx,Mr whatcarman. I do have my brother in Saudi arabia. Before i could finalize a car model, i just want to have an idea as to what will it cost me. i have to get a 1300 cc Toyota corolla, new or old model about 2-3 years old. Could u give me an idea, please.

2-3 years old 1300cc corolla (must not exceed 1300cc, even not 1301cc) would have 3 lakh customs duties. On a brand new it would be 6 lakh rupees.

Saudi Arabia have I think left hand drive vehicles, you can buy from Dubai (RHD) and ask your brother to get a gift undertaking from pakistani embassy there.

im a the moment in the Uk. im myself a british national and have family here etc. interested in sending a E220 merc to lahore? what wud the procedure be on under the gift scheme and what wud the duty be??
Also can i not sell within a particular time period???

Duty approximately 17-18 lakh. Check pakistan high commission london 's website (search the site on google, sorry I don't have url), there is every detail for all three schemes.
