If you filed 114 (1) you were received 120 but you filed 114 6 b which is permission for revision now you have to file 114 (6) to complete your filling but first check it in your completed task folder that what you filled earlier.

U are making your self confuse.
well there are only two steps to file an income tax return any thing else is just a waste of time.
Note:- The notice of 120 Self assessment is just a formality from FBR plz ignore it. It has nothing to do with the filing of I.Tax return correctly.
Now the procedure of filing an I-tax return correctly...
A taxpayer is required 2 statements in FBR's IRIS system.
1st- 116(2) (Statement of Assets / Liabilities filed voluntarily)
2nd- 114(1) (Return of Income filed voluntarily for complete year)

What to do if an extra thing task is done?

No task is pending i have done an extra task which is filinf of income after revision volunteraly

Dear Sir,
Filing an income tax return is a separate matter and becoming a Active Taxpayer in FBR Active taxpayer List (ATL) is separate matter.
Your question about ATL is quite common these days.well
the answer of your question is that u have got NTN in 2017 thus income
tax return 2016-17 does not applicable for u. If u wanted to got active
at once then u should have selected business start date from 01/07/2013
and u needed to file the Income tax returns of Tax year 2014-15-16
respectively along with wealth statement.
In your case the income tax return of tax year 2017-18 will be applicable to u.If u have submitted the 2016-17 return then u may be active in ATL in March 2018.If u have any other question feel free to ask.

1st nothing to do with audit 120 form just check it if the information is correct or not and you will need to provide documentary proof of it when they will call you for audit so prepare a file for all necessary documents, mostly they call for audit after 3,4 years of submission

If you filed for 2016 you wil be on ATL within 2 to 3 weeks maximum, they update the list on weekly basis(Thursday, Friday of each week) so might be you got there after this weekend.

If you filed for 17 then you wouldn't be on ATL before April 18.

120 har successfull filing k bad receive hota ha yani apko sirf 2014 nahi us k bad 15, 16 and 17 main bhi receive hua hoga agar ap ny in years main return file ki thi. Ab ap k sawal ka javab yeh ha k sb ka audit nahi hota, salaried individuals ka kbhi kbhar hota ha 3,4 sal main ik bar ya jb unki returns main fbr ko koi garbar feel ho tb, zyada focus companies, individual AOPs and businessmen par hota ha unka taqreeban har sal audit hota ha. 3rd yeh k audit 3,4 sal bad he hota ha march April main yani ap ka 2014 ka ya tu march 17 main hota ya march 18 main hoga ya phir fbr ko zrort mehsos nahi hui na garbar so apka audit nhi hoga.

Sir maine 2015 sy 2016 aur 2016 sy 2017 tk ka file kiya hai aur donon salon k lye audit aaya hai...mein ye janana chahta hoon k when will i be shown as active filer?

Har weekend pe yani Sunday of each week ATL update hoti ha but kbhi kbhar nahi bhi krty so within 2, 3 weeks ap us main ajaen gy qk ap ny 15-16 file kia ha agar sirf 16-17 ka file kia hota tu march 2018 k bad ap ka naam ATP list main show hota.

What will be my status if I'm not registered with FBR? Filer or Non-filer?
Secondly is it necessary for everyone to become a filer? I'm an unemployed student who doesn't have any property or vehicle registered on their CNIC or any income.Is it necessary for me to get registered with FBR?
My problem is I want to cash my prize money from a prize bond but the latest rules state that a filer has to pay 15% tax on prize money whereas a non-filer will have to pay 25% tax.I don't want to pay 25% tax on my prize money, so what should I do?
I also read that orphans under 25 years of age are not required to file for tax return.I fall into that category as I'm an orphan under 25 years age.If I cash the prize money on my CNIC without registering with FBR for tax return, how much tax will be deducted from my prize money? 25% or 15%?
