as long as the seepage doesnt result in oil drips. a very miniscule bit seepage is found in almost all engines and equipment to the point that some manufacturers literally use oversize gaskets that look hideous and ugly. But toyota dont use proper gaskets except for the cylinder head and tappet cover, They just RTV the engine casings together (with a very good one though, threebond 1207B) - if the leak gets bad, just have them repack it - its not too crazy.
here you go, look at the pics where Im applying the sealer and then the squished out sealer. Its GM 1207G, which I prefer because
1 - its cheaper and GM dealer is literally 5 mins away from my house
2 - its cleaner because its gray and I can buy it in tubes or caulking gun cartridge too (which I like)
3 - sticks with same tenacious force as toyota sealant.
I have still yet to see a seep or drop of oil from the areas I sealed up - its been years and more than 150K kms.
