E60 530i RPM Fluctuation issue

I’m facing the same issue with my 530i m54. I’m pretty sure its not the transmission and I really cant find the cause of it. My rpm bounces in 3rd gear between 2000-3000 rpm, moreover looks like a vaccum leak. I’ve tried smoke testing it but didn’t really find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Been dealing with this problem since past 8 months. Really starting to settle with it but its really affecting my transmission. It happened while I was cruising on motorway and my check engine light came up. I plugged in my OBD2 sensor and these were the errors that showed up. After that, whenever i used to accelerate hard, my car used to go into limp mode. After months of trying to diagnose it, I fixed it by removing the injectors and putting them back again. Currently it shows no tranny faults but still fluctuates with only the cat codes. I tried cleaning the cats but later found out it had no cat in it, the previous owner had them removed. Could you please suggest me where I could get my car smoke tested in lahore? My previous smoke test was a desi jughaar and I have my doubts it was not done right. I
