Easy Paisa Fraud

hello everyone,
i think i am first victim of easy paisa fraud.
today i sent 14000 rupees to my uncle from lahore to sialkot. left the franchise and after 15 min i received a msg that money is received. called my uncle to confirm but he said he didnt received yet.
i was shocked and reached the franchise and told him whole story. the guy who transfered the money was looking quite nervous. He checked on his computer and money was received on my uncle's ID in Lodhran.

also called telenor people and they humbly assured me that my matter will be solved within 14 days.

I couldn't get it quite, how was the fraud done? What seemed to be the issue? This could be a system fault.

Do you have Easy paisa account ? other wise your max limit is 10,000 you cant send more then that.
secondly who entered the 4 digit code which you tell your uncle? you or the shop keeper ?

correction boy. you can send 15k at a time if you dont ve a easy account. its limit is 15k not 10k

limit used to be 10k per CNIC
maybe they increased it now

I never consider easy pesa for lengthy transactions ! . Why not just use E-banking , much safer !

I searched Easy Paisa website and came to know that "FRAUD" is possible. now i have to submit a complain and wait for 14 or 15 days. And with addition of eid holidays i have to wait for 18 days...

I guess it will be sorted out. As easy paisa dealers ask for nic photocopy before handing over the money. If the dealer at lodhran has not any nic copy of ur uncle most probably he will be charged guilty.
