Salam,
i travel mostly on lahore - multan road. recently i have been given e challan twice and almost in the same spot. (i cant figure out spot) i have dashcam and i checked everything very carefully but i cant figure out how they did the challan ... just curious that are they using some drone or how ? because the picture seems taken from above. anyone has faced it ?

the point was i just wanted to know how so that i can could avoid it. because it feels really slow to drive 50km/h for 2-3 kilometers.

Chalaan is given for the overspeed.
Allowed speed is 60 km/h and your speed was 75 km/h.

There are poles almost at every couple of Kilometer on every road in Lahore and on the signals. The cameras & speed sensors are attached to them.

While driving usually when people see that camera pole is coming, they reduce the speed under 60 to avoid challans.

Some people have fixed the front number plate so that the number cannot be read.

no no, this is not in lahore. its between multan - lahore. somewhere near manga mandi, i think it is.

cant say for sure. as there is no cameras (safe city) on lahore - multan (NHA) . where speed limit is also 60.

feel happy and sad at the same time, happy that Punjab is stepping up their game compared to other provinces, sad that the speed limit is only 60 km/h, should've been 80 at least (or given a margin of 15-20 km/h +/-).

In Lahore city, 70 km/h is the speed allowed only & only on the canal road.
Rest all in the city, the max. allowed speed is 60 km/h.

Technically there should not be any ticket upto 66 km/h speed within city. But I’ve seen people have got tickets at 61-62 km/h too

Till last time i know the overspeeding ticket was 500 on local routes and 700 on highways.
Now i guess its 2000 within city and 2-4K on highways. Because they have categories the challans as per vehicles. Overspeeding ticket for 660cc vehicle is different and on 3000cc vehicle is different.
