Reason for ESN Unlocking
ESN is a safety system that causes the navigation and sound functions to become inoperative when the battery terminal is disconnected and reconnected. An ESN unlock PIN or ESN password is required to unlock the device.
How to find ESN Serial Number
Press and hold the Main and Navi buttons on the car audio device at the same time for a few seconds. A new screen appears with the 6-digit Eclipse ESN serial number. for example 3BFB42, 40793F.
