ECO in vitz

I have a 2015 model vitz (spider shape). I have noticed the ECO indicator on dashboard but it has never lit up. It is always off. I drive with a light foot and car is well maintained with original oil/air filter and 0w-20 chevron oil. Its only driven 18k km. I get around 15 km/l average in karachi, less if theres traffic. Is it normal? Does this car actually have ECO mode?

Turn the eco mode on. There is an option in the speedometer settings

There are three knobs. One for trip and two for time. Can't find any option for eco mode.

This is supposed to be automatic but after looking at Qasim Raza post, I explored the Yaris 2015 manual and there is an option to control the eco mode through display selector and not through time adjustments knobs. Give it a try. I am attaching the page of user manual. Hope it works. Light is supposed to be off at idle. It only comes on once driving(in motion) in drive mode.

The trip knob is supposed to do that. Press that untill the eco off settings display, then long press the knob and eco will turn on
