I doubt a low-quality plastic box(for which 500rs is just insane, mazaak karahay hain khareednay walay kay saath just because it has toyota written on it) which covers barely a quarter of the ecu from just the top will save it from potential water/dust contact. Look at the insulation on where the wiring connects on th ecu, theyve considered its position and have done the required sealing and isolation from the elements.
they are charging 500 cuz company hai na but in normal markets its 300 350 not more then that the same one they have
a mechanic sold it to me for 750, it was of poor quality, than on my last trip to pindi i bought one from Hamza Younas Autos in Sader, for 250, much better quality and fit was also better, attached image is of the 250 rupees one
