with 195/65/r15, ur speedo error will be 0%, overall dia will be 25"... side wall 5"
1)with 215/60/r16, ur speedo error will be 4.7%, overall dia greater by 1.2"... side wall 5.1"
2)with 215/55/r16, ur speedo error will be 1.3%, overall dia greater by 0.3"... side wall 4.7"
3)with 215/50/r17, ur speedo error will be 1.9%, overall dia greater by 0.5"... side wall 4.2"
4)with 215/55/r17, ur speedo error will be 5.3%, overall dia greater by 1.3"... side wall 4.7"
although they dun recommend the offset to be greater than 2.5%, but personally i might try 215/55/r17... (so that with 4.7 sidewall the ride aint that hard)
for u i'll recommend #2 or #3...
btw, i wud like to clear one confusion (experts needed please)... cuz i think that fuel consumption depends only on the tyre width, not on the rim size/tyre profile (there will be a lil difference cuz of the wieght of the rim, but not much...).... is it not so??
i mean if i get a larger dia wheel, with speedo error, yeah it might look that my fuel consumption has dropped cuz of the less odometer reading, but actually it'll be the same...
thnx
