Yup, he had a huge stock of G15As all without the ECU and wiring.

these were about 20 cars, I think I have worked on this particular car (repaired its automatic transmission) - but it was was a light green colour then - yours looks painted inside out. (All of these were imported under some weird scheme)

The funny thing was buying parts for this car, the brake discs, spindles, hubs, cv axles, tie rod ends and even struts were complately different than from PS margalla.

Mine was also green in colour from outside. I retained the interior in original paint but got it showered from outside. Will share the old picture when I will login from my PC.

Yes used to scavenge Shershah a lot to arrange the parts, even this post was created after spending whole day there. But after some time and huge efforts I was able to establish part sources at very reasonable rates. I used to get parts for this on much cheaper prices as compared to that of Margalla.

Which car they shared parts with?

nissan bluebird for front end hard parts like brakes, bearings, discs, struts were shared with some other sunny

ball joints and other bushings were same as margalla.

This car also didnt ever come with the red brake lamp garnish, it was with a black one - like the original PS margalla

Lucky for me that during the time I had this car, a lot of stuff was available in market. Nose cuts with G16A setups were a common site. I myself replaced the complete Engine, Transmission and engine wiring of the car from a nose cut

I remember the stupidest part on these to find were CV axles, they were very heavy duty and had thermoplastic boots on them which required HD oetiker clamps with some real beefy tools to compress closed.

In scrapyard market they were called - margalla ke "aarou" (peach) axles.

The nose cuts were also called "aarou margalla"

Anything not toyota is aarou in scrapeyards for Khan sahabs

Btw before your post I thought by aarou those Khans sahabs mai "aar janae wala purza" (no demand) but that peach thing made me rethink maybe aarou here means unique part (na alu na saib bech ka kuch)

Btw speaking of unique margalla saw pics of some Chinese models they had baleno control arms under need (tube tyre structure) not those cultus margalla type updated design maybe

Any benefit over stock control arms? Maybe this reduces unspring weight of wheel?
