yes system card = ECU. Its very funny when I see my old posts - and feels good that how pakwheels & pakwheelers helped me grow out of the ignorant mechanic terms and lack of technical knowledge about cars.
Just sitting in lock-down and having nothing else to do, I can rephrase my question and the answer (that I know now). The engine I was referring to was Suzuki's G15A for which the shop keeper was trying to sell me the engine assembly without the wiring and ECU (which I was referring to as system card as called by street-side mechanics at that time).
Picture of my car's engine - G16A Carby

Picture of G15A - similar to the engine the shopkeeper in Shershah was trying to sell

At that time, the shopkeeper was trying to convince me that ignition coils on the tappet cover of the Baleno are something that are controlled by the ECU - whereas the EFI setup of the car is only a electric version of the carburetor and needs only current from the battery (like a wiper motor, head lamp bulb etc). And this was the point I doubted
Baleno's engine which came with ignition coils installed on the tappet cover (2002 - 2005 PKDM)

Thus, I was trying to ask here if the shopkeeper was right or wrong (as the engine assembly of G15A was available for very cheap price).
Answer- He was fooling me, the reason for the cheap price of the assembly were the missing wiring and ECU.
Thanks to all the fellows who tried to help, specially @Xulfiqar
