Hello Everyone.
I have purchased an older model of Nissan sunny 1992. There are two problems that I want your expert opinion on.
1- How to know which engine is my Nissan? (The computer board that I opened and scan on google images says it's QG15.) ~ (The engine tappet cover is labeled as "Nissan Twin Cam 16 Value". The local mechanic say it's 1600cc as they are filling it with 3.5 mobile oil. ) Local mechanics aren't able to recognize the exact model number.
2- There is fuel tank with only one whole for fuel gauge /sender unit. After conversion the previous owner just installed a fuel pump in that fuel tank. My question is ( Is it necessary to bore another whole in the tank? or to sacrifice the fuel gauge?)
3- I searched for two in one tech component that can serve as fuel pump and gauge as well, and found EPI Fuel Tank Module. It's much expensive but if a cheaper one is available in Pakistan?
A local mechanic said that an EFI fuel tank wouldn't fit perfectly in the car.
