Aoa i have got an accident the car is insured from EFU.. 5 months are left for insurance policy. How much company gona pay me for repairs?

What is age of car? Usually 10% depreciation on parts only is charged in insurance per year (multiply by no. of years of car,
max dep is 60%) and rest is all borne by insurance company i.e full labour/denting/painting. This is case in Adamjee and hopefully will be same in efu too

If I bought new car in Aug 2021 and filed a claim in June 2024, would I be charged 30% depreciation on parts or 40%?

the car is manufactured in August 2021 then you are paying 30% dep in a claim in june 2024. this is seen by invoice date usually. its like increase 10% dep after every 12months. your car in june 2024 falls under 36 months bracket so 30%. 40% will apply when your car is in age bracket of 37-48months..
