I used plasti gauge in order to confirm main and rod bearing clearance and all came spot on

0.001 and 0.025

Torque out rod bolts to 23 ftlbs and mains caps 32 and 50 ftlbs, rotating nicely without any
issues

Engine block assembly ready ...... but the pistons came a bit out from block surface while the doom is a bit higher.... seems like after facing the head 1mm and block surface 0.5mm it will create issues with compression and hitting the deck surface of the head.

I think it's not 1mm, its more than described...may be you need a thick gasket or double the gasket(Pakistani jugar)

I don't think it would be able to sustain such compression .... thicker gasket might work ... today i tried to put the head only without torqueing out and rotate the crank .... the head was a bit moving up ... .as soon as i inserted the gasket it stopped doing that (without torqueing out)...

Let see what goes on dry compression test will justify its way forward..

So just before eid i managed to putup the assembly together, and so far it worked.

Used brand new 3mm gasket graphite, instead of original MLS 1mm and graphite 2mm.
Marked the TDC while checking the actual location of the piston and rotating the crank while timing belt is on .... it was rotating smoothly

in the end too many seals in a pack got me confused ... some of the seals to the top left were for injectors and center top is for thermostat housing the center 5 rubber washer is for valve cover which can't be fit in rest i am clueless.....

After a while completed the timing cover installation intake manifold assembly some bits and pieces are left but it getting back in shape.

It's good time now, paint the timing marks on the harmonic balancer in white and red color paint.

Dash back in place finally good to see the interior getting back in shape .... stil lots of work to be done .... but slow and steady .... cleaning the exterior with water as of now .... engine room needs washing and some touchups......
